11 days til first u/s...sooo nervous!
Good morning friends!
Next friday is my first u/s appt! This month sure has went by extra SLOW!! Sheesh, I can't believe they make us wait for so long to see the baby!
Anyway I am pretty nervous about it, because I have been feeling GREAT! No morning sickness (except maybe twice), or anything. Still my only 'symptoms' are sore boobs, extra tired, some minor cramps on occasion, some foods I used to eat daily gross me out to think about them, and I do have to pee a little more than usual, and my sense of smell of CRAZY. I know those are all symptoms, but I always thought I would have m/s! I know I should stop complaining about feeling absolutely GREAT in my pregnancy.
Hubby brought to my attention that I am always weird when it comes to certain symptoms and side effects. One example is that I had the RNY, and I know the main side effect is dumping. Well I'm not a dumper, and I can eat sugar and fats all day every day and not feel sick. So maybe I'm just one of the few women who won't get m/s (this pregnancy)!
I'm crazy for complaining I know.....

I was seeing an RE when I got pregnant so I saw my little guy at 5 weeks...I can't imagine waiting 8 or more! I'm telling you- pregnancy is the longest thing in the world. Those forty weeks feel like an eternity!
Good luck and stay busy! It will help!

be happy to not have morning sickness from the moment i peed on the stick i had morning sickness and this was all the while trying to do an internship so i could be that much closer to graduation. I had it real bad in the first semster and on and off in the second and third. also i'm a dumper and it sucks but its worth it cause it makes me watch what i put in my mouth. I cant waite to hear about your first exsperince on seeing your baby.
I'm 14 weeks and still have "evening" sickness. I get nauseous after 5pm. I got to see my baby at 6 weeks because I was having issues. I have a box full of ultrasound picks of Cletus. Hopefully my pregnancy journal shows up from Amazon today so I can put them in something. I had 8 ultrasounds total. I do appreciate all the pictures of the LO, but that transvaginal ultrasound is a bit violating!
